This guy just stumbles from one brain-dead move to another. The Clash of NBA's Titans, The Los Angeles Lakers (starring Kobe Bryant, Pau Gasol) and the Boston Celtics (featuring Kevin Garnett, Rajan Rondo, Paul Pierce and the brilliant Ray Allen), happens to be scheduled to start at 8pm this evening (June 6, 2010), just as the fifth game will be getting underway in the Stanley Cup Final matchup between the Chicago Black Hawks and the Philadelphia Flyers.
I realize that TV networks have the major say in all this, but a wiser, more dedicated NHL Commissioner would have been able to convince the media powers that a 3pm start would have allowed sports fans to watch both games.
A new face is required, and more importantly, a hockey mind.
