Despite the people wanting to name the center after former Mayor Harry Baals, county officials are said to have already decided to name the project after Edwin J. Rousseau, who passed away in 2009 after serving as an elected official for more than 40 years. Nothing against Rousseau, and maybe a park should be named after him, however if the voters want their community center named after their beloved Harry Baals, more power to them!
