If there is one message Tunisian, Egyptian and other Arab youth are sending to each other and the whole planet, it is that rigged elections shall no longer be tolerated, and this has implications from Saudi Arabia to Ethiopia, from Yemen to Iran.
The second message is particularly crucial to the Palestinian people, who have suffered enormously from incoherent, outdated leadership. The new Palestine must be formed utilizing the principles of civil disobedience and nonviolence, creating a country dedicated to peace, security and development.
THIS is why it is so crucial to freedom and democracy that at least some of these revolutionary uprisings succeed in the near term, bringing more open government and economic opportunity to millions of currently oppressed Arab peoples.
Tragic-comic joke of the day: I just heard on CNN that the Egyptian Government is blaming the pro-Mubarak thug violence on "tourism workers upset with the loss of revenue."
Funny, sad, delusional...
