While Iranian leader Khamenei speaks out of both sides of his mouth regarding the Tunisian revolution and Egyptian uprising, the youth of Iran cannot be fooled by such blatant obfuscation. Here is a recent comment from Ayatollah Khamenei regarding the events in Tunisia and Egypt:
“The enemy is using its security forces against you, in order to put fear and intimidation in your hearts, and to create chaos,” he said, adding, “Do not fear them, you are stronger than these people who have been paid for.”
Perhaps the old guy doesn't remember as far back as 2009, when he personally ordered that Iranian pro-democracy forces be crushed in the streets with violence. Not to worry, he will be toppled soon!
NEVER in the history of the Earth has there been a progressive theocracy, and Iran's current form of government is so outmoded that it would be laughable if not for the extreme pain and suffering experienced by young Iranians fighting for freedom.
Ayatollah Khamenei, your days in power are numbered.
