If people want me to run... I will not let them down
In a telephone interview with Eliot Spitzer broadcast tonight on CNN, Mohamed El Baradei declared that his main priority was "helping Egypt catch up with the rest of the world."
He followed that statement by saying:
We have been behind the curve in a very painful way. I would like to see this country moving forward into a democracy based on social justice. If I can do that, and I think we’re almost ninety percent there, then this is my dream come true; however, if people want me to run afterwards, I will not let them down. I will continue to do what any person will do for his own country.
Godspeed, Namaste...Inshallah
